Product description: The 10x DNA Loading Buffer IF (inhibitor free) is an enzyme inhibitor free DNA Loading buffer that contains a enzyme compatible density reagent and tracking dye for loading DNA size markers and DNA samples on agarose gels after restriction digest or PCR.
Tip: As this loading buffer is free from enzyme inhibitors 1 volume 10x DNA Loading Buffer IF can be mixed with 1 volume 10x PCR buffer. The resulting 5x orange direct load PCR buffer does not interfere with PCR performance. Moreover, in some cases the buffer improves the amplification of GC rich templates. The resulting PCR mix can be directly loaded on an agarose gel after PCR amplification. Use: Ad 9µL of DNA sample plus 1µL of 10x DNA Loading Buffer IF (inhibitor free). Mix by pipetting up and down and load on an agarose gel. Note: Orange G migrates at approximately 20 to 50 bp at a standard TAE or TBE agarose gel.
Composition: The Inhibitor free DNA Loading Buffer is a formulation of a proprietary non-toxic biodegradable density reagent and Orange G as an inert tracking dye in water. The mixture does contain enzyme inhibitors. The mixture is free from organo-chlorine compounds and is environmentally friendly. As its free from enzyme inhibitors and preservatives the 10x DNA Loading Buffer IF (Inhibitor free) should be stored at -20 °C.
Quality control: Each batch is tested for freedom of DNAase and tested for compatibility with PCR and agarose gel electrophoresis. Functionally tested for in PCR with Taq Polymerase. 24 hours of incubation of 0.5µg of linear plasmid DNA at 37 °C did not show any signs of degradation in agarose gel electrophoresis.
